The Star tarot card meaning

The Star upright

The Star shines after the storm, bringing hope, healing and quiet renewal. After a difficult period, this card says things are getting better. You can breathe again, rest and begin to trust the future. It is a deeply peaceful card, linked to inspiration, generosity and feeling connected to something larger than yourself. Creative and spiritual pursuits are especially favoured. Let yourself dream a little. The Star encourages you to be open and honest, sharing your gifts without fear. Your wishes are more achievable than you think, so keep your eyes on the light.

The Star reversed

Reversed, the Star suggests you have lost some faith in yourself or the future. Disappointments may have left you feeling flat, uninspired or cut off from what usually lifts you. This card reminds you that hope is still there, even if it feels distant. Small things help: time in nature, music, rest, kind company. Avoid comparing your progress with others. Reconnect with what you love and what gives your life meaning. Healing often happens quietly before you notice it. Be patient with yourself; the light has not gone out, it is just clouded over.
