Ten of Wands upright
The Ten of Wands shows someone staggering along under a huge bundle of sticks, so loaded they can barely see where they are going. You may be carrying too much: extra shifts, family duties, other people's problems or a project that has grown far beyond its original size. The card acknowledges your hard work and sense of responsibility, but it also asks a blunt question. Does all of this really have to be yours? Some burdens are temporary and worth pushing through. Others could be shared, delegated or set down entirely. Be honest about which is which before your back gives out.
Ten of Wands reversed
Reversed, the Ten of Wands suggests the load is finally becoming too heavy, or that you are ready to put some of it down. This might be the moment you say no, hand a task to someone else or admit that a commitment no longer suits you. If you keep pushing on regardless, the card warns of collapse, whether that is exhaustion, illness or dropping everything at once. Letting go of a responsibility can feel like failure, but it is often the wisest move available. Work out what only you can do and release the rest. Lighter hands can carry what matters further.
